Join the team.

Kip seeks highly qualified candidates to join our team - either as a graduate intern while pursuing a Master’s degree, or as a post-graduate Clinical Fellow seeking licensure hours. Through Kip’s unique, highly competitive program, interns and fellows gain advanced clinical expertise in working with individuals, couples, and groups. Participation in the fellowship meets New York State requirements for clinical licensure in social work and mental health counseling.

Clinical fellowships

A cornerstone of Kip’s clinical training, the Clinical Fellowship (also known as Pathway to Licensure) provides unique opportunities for recent graduates of social work (LMSWs) and mental health counseling (MHC-LP) programs to accrue hours for NY State clinical licensure. In addition to carrying the necessary caseload to qualify for hours, candidates receive individual and group supervision, and in-service training.

Graduate internships

KIP provides unique opportunities for graduate students to receive intensive clinical experience and supervision. We partner with Columbia University, Hunter College, Fordham University, New York University, Northwestern University and other leading institutions to provide students with unparalleled training that prepares them for advanced clinical practice.
